Before Traveling

It is suggested for trips outside of Canada that you register with the Canadian Government, “Registration of Canadians Abroad” program, so that you can be contacted in the case of an emergency.  To sign up or for more information please click here

A valid passport is required for traveling to Mexico.  For up to date information regarding entry and exit from Mexico it is the travelers responsibility to check with the Mexican consulate.  For a list of Mexican consulate offices in Canada please click here.

TRAVEL HEALTH

Contact your physician or travel medicine clinic six (6) to eight (8) weeks prior to your departure to ensure that immunizations are up to date.

Also ensure that any prescription medication you need is packed into your carry on baggage and is kept in its original container.
